PCI-compliant tokenization, REST API, hosted checkout, and direct integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, and custom stacks.
What does an ecommerce payment gateway actually do?
The gateway encrypts and tokenizes card data at the moment of capture, sends the auth request to the acquiring bank, and returns the auth response — all in under a second. Crucially, raw PAN never touches your servers, which keeps your PCI scope at SAQ-A instead of SAQ-D.
Why is tokenization important?
Tokens replace card numbers with platform-issued aliases. Stored tokens enable one-click rebuy, recurring billing, and account-updater services without you storing card data. They also reduce breach blast radius to effectively zero.
How does the gateway connect to my store?
Two options: drop-in plugins for Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Magento, or a REST API for custom stacks. Both options route authentication client-side via tokenization SDK.
What about hosted checkout?
Hosted checkout pages reduce PCI scope to its absolute minimum (SAQ-A) by iframing card capture in our domain. Use it for tighter PCI compliance or when you do not want to build checkout UI.
Frequently asked questions
How fast can you get approved?
Most ecommerce merchants are approved within 24 hours of complete application submission. Files with chargeback history or international processing may take 48–72 hours while underwriting reviews trailing statements.
What does it cost?
Interchange-plus pricing — typically 2.4% + $0.10 per transaction with no setup fee and no monthly minimum. You see interchange cost, assessments, and our markup on a single itemized statement.
What if I've been terminated by another processor?
We work with merchants who've been dropped by Stripe, Square, and PayPal. Bring documentation of the termination plus 3–6 months of processing statements and we'll review your file.
